This thing was spotted. Given the consolidation in the car
industry, maybe this is the latest prototype: The Ferrari
Corolla!
|
|
At first glance, it's a
Toyota.
|
While the specs of this unique 'protoype' are not known, experts
conclude that this vehicle includes 105 horsepower, and 400
stickerhorsepower.
|
|
If you look carefully, though,
you'll see this is a Ferrari!
|
This may be the first front wheel drive Ferrari ever! Neither Ferrari
or Toyota will comment on this, but it is thought that this vehicle
will be built in the NUMMI plant, with some components coming from a
printing corporation at an undisclosed location. Price is estimated
to be in the low $45,000's, creating the most economical Ferrari made
to date. Analysts predict that this vehicle will be marketed using
the "fools and their money" concept.
And if you think that putting a Ferrari sticker on an econobox
makes it a Ferrari, I have some beachfront real estate to sell you
in Nebraska.
[Editor's note: This vehicle attempted to race our agent, who
was driving a rental Jaguar. The Ferrari Corolla lost, badly. So much
for the stickerpower.]
